I’m so happy you took the time to venture onto my site, sharing affordable and wholesome beauty products is a growing passion of mine that genuinely enjoy sharing with you all on this platform. I am passionate about cruelty-free and vegan makeup and skincare, so when a brand that is both of those wants to work with me I am super excited. So today I am going to give you my 100% honest review of Golden Star Beauty Tanning products. In case you weren’t sure Golden Star Beauty products are formulated without Parabens & Gluten. In addition, they are vegan, cruelty-free, and organic, which is super exciting because most tanning brands I have come across don’t even cross off the cruelty-free box. So with all that in mind let’s jump right in:
The Tan Serum for Face: this product works instantly, it smells amazing and it goes on super easy. It says to exfoliate then apply 2-3 pumps into your hands and apply to your face down your neck then wash hands after. This is exactly what I did and it worked perfect, not to mention no breakouts were followed which is a relief coming from someone with sensitive skin. Another tip to note is that you should let this face serum sit for 3-4 hours before you put makeup on so either applying this on your makeup off days or right before bed is perfect. In addition, this product does not clog pores or cause acne, it also diminishes photo-aging, improves skin tone and elasticity, and minimizes the appearance of fine lines. I don’t know any self-tan face serum that does that and is included with wholesome ingredients, I’m truly blown away. Lastly, and my personal favorite is that this product is $23 on Amazon and formulated with hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5 and organic rosehip oil. This is truly is the first tanning product I’ve tried that does not reek of that strong tanning lotion/spray smell and I love it.
The Self Tanner Sunless Tanning Body Lotion: So this is the gradual tanning lotion if you will, and this works just as amazing as Jergen’s Tanning lotion which used to be my favorite but is not nearly as wholesome as this product. This product takes about 3/4 days to see results, so if you’re trying to tan pretty fast I recommend using the tanning oil. This product again does not smell like your typical strong tanning lotion/spray that most of us (and especially the boyfriends) can’t stand. This product is $24 on Amazon and made with organic olive oil, coconut oil, argan oil, aloe vera, and hyaluronic acid. I love that Golden Star Beauty has the consumers best interest in mind when they formulated these products, because of their ingredients.
The Self Tanning Oil Body Bronzer: This product is basically like their take on a tanning mousse if you will, but it’s better. Here’s why: it smells amazing, it does not streak, it sprays on clear and lastly it dries SO quick. I truly dread putting on tanning mousse because I know that my body will be wet all night from it and I feel totally sticky and gross. Well, I am kissing that feeling goodbye because this tanning oil dries within 30 mins to an hour. So here’s how it works, you do a body scrub in the shower then apply with their super soft black mitt all over and I apply it twice because one coat is not enough. I also do this right before bed, so that I wake up the next day bronzed and ready. I also noticed this product was way and I mean way less streaky then any I have tried before. So between it drying fast, smelling amazing and not being streaky, it’s safe to say I am obsessed with this product. Lastly, this product is $27 on Amazon and made with organic jojoba oil, avocado oil, macadamia oil, evening primrose oil, and hyaluronic acid.
It’s safe to say that I am obsessed with the Golden Star Beauty tanning products which you can purchase via Amazon prime too. These products are wholesome, affordable, vegan, cruelty-free, organic, paraben-free and most importantly they work. I wouldn’t recommend anything I didn’t love or was not passionate about.
